As if we needed one more reason to love Pixar...

Today I read this bizarre but touching story about the good folks at Pixar on USA Today:

WalleBack in October, a grown-up Pixar fan named Courtney saw the WALL·E trailer and burst into tears. She then recorded her emotional reaction and posted it on her blog.

Weirdly enough, the video caught on, and folks at Pixar heard about it. They contacted Courtney and said they were glad she was excited about the movie. Pretty soon, she received the invitation of a lifetime: to attend WALL·E's official wrap party.

Go here to read all about Courtney's "Pixar adventure," and check out her photos of Flickr.

Now granted, Courtney's emotional response to the movie's trailer is a little strange, but how great was it for Pixar to recognize and celebrate a kindred spirit like they did here?

Why can't we all work for Pixar?

K, I still don't get it. Why would she be filming her reaction to a trailer of the movie? Cute girl, but WEIRD!

Hey, some girls cry whey they hear robots "talk". Some guys jump really high and let out scared yells during harry potter. Good thing those people can use their hands as a "scary filter". I hope you know who I'm talking about.

We all can't work for Pixar because some of us work for even better companies. Come on Justin. You work for Novell. Novell!!

You were totally right J-dawg, I haven't graced this blog with the attention it deserves even though I have it on my Google Reader!!

Frankly it made me gag a little to watch that clip of her. I can't get over the fact that she filmed herself!?! I guess it could be worse, but ewww!

How did this all even happen? She thought, I'm going to watch a trailer now...better turn on the videocam? And still rolling when she comes back with the tissue? A little bit wacko really.

OK folks, we can all agree that the girl in this post is a clearly off a little...

But still, how great is Pixar for humoring her?

Pixar is fantastic. Everybody in the world should turn into members of the Pixar crew and everything should turn into the Pixar company. Pixar would make Pixar microwave burritos. We'd watch Pixar sports. We'd attend Pixar schools. Everyone would eat, sleep, and breathe Pixar. Pixar would be the name of every amusement park around the world. Yes, if only Pixar would rule the world, we all could look to a bright, Pixar future for our children. We'd only have arguments consisting of who Andy REALLY favors, but in the end, we'd realize Andy loves all of us equal. We would only eat the very best foods- (from France, of course), and we would stop scaring each other and instead make each other laugh. Pixar would make everything in the world cute, so the women would become even more tender hearted and the men would have no choice but to come home from work in the best mood, every single day. If Pixar ruled the world, we would all be forever safe on the road and we'd all have super Incredible powers. And best of all, there would no longer be the dilemma of filtering the smut that the devil has put into the media, because Pixar chooses clean, moral material to invade our minds instead. How clever.
You see? Pixar could "heal the world and make it a better place", as quoted by Michael Jackson, who would be the NEW king of Pixar-Pop.
